Headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa Hy-Vee is one of the largest grocery chains in the Unites States and the largest in the midwest. With over 93,000 employees and 285 stores across 8 states Hy-Vee represents quality goods, low prices, and the famous “helpful smile, in every aisle”.

Need: Hy-Vee wanted a top of the line e-commerce solution for its customers. They wanted an application that was seamless across all digital touch points and made online grocery shopping not only convenient, but enjoyable.

Solution: I was part of the team that created Hy-Vee’s “aisles online” application and site e-commerce experience. Added benefits included the ability to shop weekly print ads, filter items based on dietary needs, brands, and sales. Shoppers enjoy real-time inventory updates and a streamlined shopping experience with an intuitive user interface and seamless branding across all devices and touch points.
